MEA Online Professional Development!

MEA has long taken the lead in providing high quality professional development, both at the local level and at the state level. As a way to reach more members more effectively, we are offering online professional development opportunities for all our members. This is being done through a collaborative effort between the Michigan Education Association and Instructional Technology Services with ITS, Inc.'s “LearnPortals” program.

This portal is your “one-stop” access to quality online educational professional development in a quick, easy-to-use, self-paced format offered in online learning libraries. In addition, online courses related to computers and technology, personal development and professional development are provided. Graduate Credit, SCECHS, and ESP Certification options are available for select courses.

Three Services in ONE!

I have to say this was a very beneficial class, and I am telling a lot of people about it.
- E. Waugh (Bath Community Schools)

The MEA Online Portal is a convenient way of building up my toolbox of skills and best practices at my own pace.
Flexible scheduling helps me to better myself in a way that honors my other responsibilities.
- M. McCullough (Kalamazoo Public Schools)

For support after logging in to the courses or for assistance with SCECH or grad credit contact Katie Travis at 248.425.5868 or by email at katie@instructionaltechs.com.
